Kelly Sanderson joined the Nelson Law team as an associate attorney in 2017. Kelly is a native of Sturgis, South Dakota. She attended Black Hills State University for her undergraduate studies, earning degrees in Political Science and History. After college, Kelly attended law school at the University of Wyoming College of Law. During law school, Kelly clerked for the 4th Judicial District and 18th Judicial District of Colorado.

Kelly’s primary area of practice includes family law and estate planning. Kelly is excited to be able to serve the community of Sturgis and the surrounding areas.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
